Shiki Sakura

We have eaten at this little place several times. The food has always been prompt and good. Side note, if your looking for a cheeseburger in the valley, they have become my new go to.

The only thing keeping me from rating them higher was the yum-yum sauce.

Delicious quaint little restaurant in the lovely town of Mount Laurel. Fresh ingredients, never a wait and large portions. Sit and eat or call ahead and pick up.

First time going, food was really good.

Very disappointing. Sushi very bland. Kung Pao chicken dish had grizzle like pieces of chicken. Focus seemed to be on low cost rather than quality.

It was just okay. I got the Happy Family. The chicken, and Beef was cooked well and the veggies were good,but the brown sauce tasted more like brown gravy. Not very Asian to me. The crispy noodles that they brought out were stale.

Food is good

My husband and I love this place! The food is always ready quick, fresh and hot, and the entrees are always delicious. The honey chicken is a little too sweet for my taste but otherwise everything has always been good, including sushi, and Vanessa the owner is so sweet!

Bright lights, no background music, no ambience (but would be so easy to add some), sushi was ordinary and the Chinese entrees had tough beef and grisly chicken. Highly disappointed. Mt. Laurel, Belvedere, and Greystone residents would support a restaurant with more quality and appeal. I would pay more to get this. Such a cute spot with much more potential.

Shiki Sakura has amazing food!!! We have never had a bad meal. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet!!! They know my number when I call in a to-go order and usually know exactly what we want to order!!! They are a treasure to Mt. Laurel community and the Birmingham food scene!!

Seriously! This place is amazing. The sushi the hibachi menu everything. Also, try the bacon cheeseburger. You won’t be disappointed!

Standard Chinese restaurant as far as the menu and selection. Everything was just a little better than everywhere else: the food, the interior, the portions, and the service. Only the distance will keep it from being my first choice every time.

One of the best Asian restaurants I have ever frequented. Ran by a great family, the mother makes the sushi and the father anything on the grill. For someone who frequents the place, my selections are remembered by name! The food is great. The service is great. Just go already!

South of Birmingham TreasureIf you are looking for swank ambiance and discussions of a wine list, there are plenty of places in the hot Birmingham restaurant scene to spend a lot of money and get good results. If you want equally great results and also great value in food from a family from New York that knows the restaurant business, you can find it south of Birmingham on a back street in the new urbanism style Mount Laurel commercial center. The sushi was world class and everything else was terrific. The dining area was small but full of people who brought their own wine and came for the food. You will meet the entire family if you dine there and you will not be disappointed by anything but the absence of tablecloths.

We had a superb in this restaurant. We enjoyed the first-rate environment and the meals. The waiters are super amiable. I am glad we ultimately managed to try this restaurant.

Very fresh and good

This was our first visit and it was great. We've been by several times and it never seems busy inside, which is surprising because it was so good! It would be nice to enjoy a beer or glass of wine with dinner, but... Looks like the do a great take out business. We will be back. Mongolian Delight and Lo mien were very good.

This place is awesome, delicious, tastes fresh, and has a great deal for lunch. My family craves it and we go frequently.

This is some of the best Asian food in Birmingham! It’s a cozy spot with wonderful employees and excellent service. I have recommended this place to several friends/family members, and they all love it! Totally worth checking it out!!

Very nice place to eat outside of the hustle and bustle of normal city traffic. I recommend you try it or one of the other restaurants located in Mt. Laurel.

Great food and always friendly service.

Spot on flavor. They understood correct taste for Thai food. Best so far in Birmingham. Their larb is right, also including toasted rice. I had their red curry duck which was cooked well, ant their Pad-Thai which was tasty, and which they made special because my wife wanted low-sodium. Their sushi I had was delicious, the Saba. They were crowded when I went. But the food came out surprisingly quickly. I think the service, especially in the back, kitchen, is great. I hope they do well and become a mainstay of Bham Homewood restaurant scene. We needed a good Thai restaurant and looks like we got one.
